Welcome to St Thomas More Catholic Voluntary Academy.

St Thomas More Catholic Voluntary Academy is more than a school; it is a community. The school mission statement calls us all to “Love one another as I have loved you" and we strive to do this by living out the Gospel Values of respect, honesty and truth in our daily lives. This is evident in all aspects of school life.

I am privileged and extremely proud to be the Head teacher at a school where there is a cohesive and strong team of governors, staff, children and families who work together in partnership to meet the challenges and provide opportunities to prepare our children for further education and beyond. We have developed an ambitious and well sequenced curriculum and staff have high expectations of all children, in particular those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and the most disadvantaged. We plan regular opportunities to develop children beyond the academic curriculum, providing opportunities to have additional responsibilities in school and experiences to broaden horizons and aspirations.
